Meet Kylee! My name is Kylee Hintz and I founded Neutral K9 in 2023. I am a certified AKC CGC Evaluator (#106485), certified AKC ATT Evaluator  (#112825), and I am current on my canine First Aid and CPR certification. I grew up practicing animal husbandry, eventually relying on pet care as my income in 2016. 

I sought further education in 2021 after experiencing difficult dogs in the pet care industry and feeling burnt out. I knew I needed to find solutions for my clients. This started a fairly brisk transition into grooming and training for difficult dogs. After a few years of attending seminars and receiving my certifications, I opened Neutral K9 in 2023.

 "Neutral" came from the term "neutrality". Neutrality is a staple in canine structure! 

I have dabbled in a variety of AKC and non-AKC sports as well as AKC conformation in my short time alive. I have placed and received titles in AKC Obedience, AKC Rally, and AKC Conformation with both client's dogs and my own. I have goals to pursue like achieving a PSA (Protection Sports Association) working title in 2026. The ultimate dream of mine would be titling a dog in IGP, which I have initiated and continue pursuing.

This year, I began puppy raising future working K9's for nonprofit Working Dogs Oregon and love every moment of that. In my spare time, I like working my Shepherd dogs and appreciating my Basset Hounds.
